Travel Tips
Dayspring Airways offers the following travel tips to
passengers fatigued by long flights:
(a) To combat dry air, on airplanes, prevent dehydration
drink more non-alcoholic beverages than normal. Limit
alcoholic and caffeine containing beverages.
(b) Carry medicines in your carry-on luggage. Ask your
doctor to tell you whether to change recommended dosage
due to altered food intake and sleep routines at point
of destination. Diabetics and Epileptics should carry
notification cards such as "Diabetes Alert Card"
from the American Diabetes Association. The name and
phone number to reach in case of an emergency. Also
remember to list the names and dosages of all medicines.
(c) Meals served on board Dayspring Airways are light,
we encourage passengers to eat light to avoid discomfort.
(d) Dayspring recommends passengers to exercise periodically
by walking or standing in aisle. Toe touches can release
an aching back.
(e) Upper body and overhead stretches including forward
body flexes can release tension from the whole body.
Neck, shoulder and ankle rolls; knee to chest lifts,
ankle and arm bends also encourage circulation hampered
by long confinement in seats.
(f) open your mouth wide as though preparing for a yawn
to counter ear-pressure during take-off and landing.
For babies experiencing discomfort due to pressure during
take-off and landing give them a bottle or give
them a pacifier.
Unaccompanied Minors
1 (a) Dayspring Airways offers an Unaccompanied Minor
Service. An "Unaccompanied Minor" is defined
as a child between 8 and 14 years of age travelling
without an accompanying adult. The service is required
for children between 5-14. It is optional for minors
between the ages of 15-17. The service requires completion
of a form listing particulars of the adult parties involved
in the transaction and ensures the safety and comfort
of unaccompanied children by offering extra attention
through the entire journey. Activity packets are made
available for the children to avoid boredom.
(b) The person dropping off a child must provide the
ticket counter agent with their own name, address, telephone
contact and the name, address and telephone contact
of the person the child is to be conveyed to. The person
receiving an unaccompanied minor traveling on an international
flight may not be permitted through security.
(c) Dayspring Airways will provide an authorized escort
for the child at all times. The child will be pre-boarded
and introduced to the flight attendants. A Dayspring
official will accompany the child through customs upon
arrival at the point of destination, until the child
is personally conveyed to the party indicated on the
travel documents. In case the meeting party is late,
the child will be escorted to a Dayspring lounge where
the child will be able to read, watch a movie or play
games pending conveyance.
(d) Dayspring will NOT escort an Unaccompanied Minor
to a bus or taxi service.
(e) Proof of age may be requested from passengers who
advice they are 15 years old traveling alone. [Any type
of ID that reflects date of birth will suffice]
(f) A surcharge is added for children traveling unaccompanied.

at board point one-way and from origin and/ or destination
points on date of departure in the case of roundtrip
